Bought this on a whim, I remember seeing a discovery channel special on the Kopi Luwak Civet coffee trade and it's rarity and being the most expensive coffee in the world. I think the price tag is acceptable for what you get. The 100 grams is enough for 10 cups or so, so I shared a few with my co-workers. We all agreed it's a very low acidity, mild smooth coffee but rich flavor at the same time. I think half the fun is watching everyone's first sip unsure of what it's going to taste like! Perfect for a dinner party to start some conversation after you tell them what they are drinking ;) I will definitely get this again for special occasions but probably not as my daily brew due to cost. All in all I really liked it.

I like this coffee. Been looking to try kopi luwak for a while now. Rating seemed overall good. I tried different grinds (ultra-fine through course) and brewing techniques, as long as I use filtered water and don't over brew the grinds it seems to be consistently good. The taste is hard to describe: refreshing, clean, not bitter. It seems to have just a very slight hint of chocolate. I've heard others use the word jungle, while jungle is not a flavor I think I know what is meant by a jungle taste. For the price this is a good introduction to kopi luwak.
